William LeJeune, 77 of Greene Township, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 1, 2019. He is at rest and rejoins his wife Mary Yvonne, his daughter Juliana Corder, and his parents. William, known as Bill or Buddy, was born on July 12, 1941 in South Fork, PA to the late William and Catherine (Susko) LeJeune. He married Mary Yvonne Estok on July 21, 1962 in Beaverdale, PA. They were married over 55 years before she passed away on September 2, 2018.
Bill’s most precious times were spent with his family. Known to many as “Pappap”, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was an active presence in their lives. He sure loved those babies! They brought him such great joy and they loved spending time with him. Bill retired after a successful career at Midland Steel. During his retirement he never just sat at home. He started driving and working along-side Amish at various jobs and they quickly became friends. Pappap was a great influence in the lives of everyone he met and never turned down anyone in need of help.
William is survived by his loving family, eight children, Teresa (Mike) Updike, Mary (John) Elwood, Susanne LeJeune, William (Kris) LeJeune Jr, Beth (Cory) Fein, Monica McMasters, Lori (Mike) Smith, and Katherine Douglas, his son-in-law Larry Corder, 20 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and three sisters, Joyce Cruise, Alverta Varner, and Marlene Trimpy.
