William Krejci, 83, of West Farmington, passed away peacefully at UH Geauga Hospital, November 17, 2020. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late William and Irene (Kalman) Krejci on September 6, 1937. After High School, he married the love of his life, Barbara (Wiencek), and they were married for 62 glorious years. He worked for the Illuminating Company/First Energy for 37 years before his retirement.
William was a caring and kind man. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, and he passed these skills to his children. He loved to coupon and had a coupon for every occasion. He and Barbara loved to travel, going to Lake Tahoe and as far as Alaska. He taught his six children life skills that they continue to use today. William had an infectious smile, and once you met him, you became his friend. When the children were little, they would line up to have Dad throw them up in there in the air and have him catch them. He was a very thoughtful man and considered his family his greatest joy. He will be truly missed.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, sons William Krejci, Greg (Cheryl) Krejci, Gary Krejci, daughters Doreen (Michael) Davirro, Pam (Bernd) Schonrank, Paula (Steve) Shum, grandchildren Shelley, Chelsie, Kali, Gregory, Jesse, Bradley, Zachary, Sam, Shane, Logan, and great grandchildren Aurora and Anthony.
