William H. Jonath 79 of Huntsburg passed away at his home Tuesday December 17, 2024. He was born August 12, 1945, in Cleveland to the late Harry and Gladys (Spoonamoore) Jonath. He graduated from Cardinal high school and received his bachelor's degree in education from The Ohio State University. Willam worked as an inspector for over 30 years at Lincoln Electric Co. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his grandkids. William was a member of the Church of the Blessed Hope in Chesterland.
He will be sadly missed by his son, Robert (Brittany) Jonath of Huntsburg, daughter, Brenda Newman of Chardon, grandchildren, Sierra (Keegan) Mominee, Jasmine Newman, Michael Newman, Brooklyn Jonath, Logan Jonath, Greson Jonath, and Scarlett Jonath. He is also survived by his sister Sandy (John) Burnette. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia M. Jonath in 2013, brothers, John Jonath, Steven Jonath and his wife Janice, sisters Judy Ross and her husband Tom Ross, (Evelyn) McGranahan her husband Tom McGranahan and a brother-in-law, Bill Motil.
He will be laid to rest at a private graveside service next to his wife in Middlefield Cemetery.
