William L Hites

SERVICE UPDATE:

William L. Hites, 64, of Bristolville, Ohio, passed away at his home on Saturday, June 20, 2026.

William was born on April 19, 1962, in Warren, Ohio, to the late Eugene and Kathryn (Oliver) Hites. He graduated from Bristolville High School and worked in assembly at KraftMaid Cabinetry for 37 years before retiring.

A skilled carpenter and handyman, William enjoyed riding motorcycles, working on muscle cars, hunting, cooking, and spending time with his nieces and nephews. He was also a true comedian at heart, always bringing laughter to those around him. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

William is survived by his sister, Ruth Ann Goddard (Thomas), and his brother, Frank Hites (Ronda); his nieces and nephews, Thomas (Connie) Goddard, Kenny (Jessica) Goddard, Kristina (Sam) Welch, Meloni (Adam) Francis, Amber (Mike) Ferry, and Frankie Hites; as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gordon Hites.

A memorial service will be held at the Sager Memorial Cemetery Chapel on Thursday  July 16, 2026 at 12:00 PM
