William Hackney Obituary

William Warren Hackney, 64 of Chardon passed away Sunday July 27, 2025, at Burton Heath Care following a lengthy illness. He was born November 15, 1960, in Madison, Ohio to John William Hackney and Dixie Lee Trask. Bill was an electrician and worked on the windmills in California. He enjoyed listening to music, playing the guitar, hotrods and going to car shows.

He will be sadly missed by his mother, Dixie Lee Huson, son, William Warren (Kristin) Hackney Jr, five grandchildren, William II, Miranda, Chloe, Clayton, Kaylee, and Blake, siblings, Jacqueline Hackney, David Hackney, Donna (Rick) Anez, Michael (Beth) Hackney, and Dale (Seandale) Hackney.

Following his wishes no services will be held.

Sly Family Funeral Home assisted his family with arrangements.
