Walter Andrew Lucas

 Walter Andrew Lucas 80 of Newbury passed away Wednesday April 13, 2022 at UH Geauga Medical Center.  He was born June 21, 1941 in Lemont Furnace, PA to the late Andrew and Ethel (Paden) Lucas.  He graduated from West Geauga High School in 1959.  He was a Body Repairman for Manfredi Motor Transit Co. and in retirement he drove a bus for The Weils Assisted living.  Walter enjoyed bowling, fishing, family gambling trips, sightseeing with Betty, and spending time with his family and grandson’s.  

He will be sadly missed by his wife of 60 years, Elizabeth “Betty” Lucas, his children, Donald Lucas, of Newbury, Kathryn (Scott) McNeill of Auburn, Susan Lucas of Newbury, 2 grandsons, Matthew and Scott McNeill. 

A Gathering of Family and Friends to Celebrate his life will be held; Saturday April 23, 2022 from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St. Middlefield, OH 44062.
