Victoria K. (Kurple) Motz

Victoria K. Motz 72 of Southington, passed away Saturday October 30, 2021, at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born in Cleveland, January 24, 1949, to the late Wasyl W. and Genevieve Mary (Trzaskowski) Kurple.  Victoria graduated from high school and went to Kent State University where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Vicky worked as a RN for Trumbull Memorial Hospital in the OB and Staff Education Department for 40 Years.  She married Robert Jan Motz August 24, 1974. They were married almost 35 years before he passed away on April 30, 2009. Victoria was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, enjoyed flower gardening, reading, and spending time with family and her grandchildren. 

She will be sadly missed by her children, David (Kimberly) Motz of Hiram, Sarah Motz of Southington, John (Brandy) Cupach of Amherst, grandchildren, Emma, Aiden, Ethan, her sisters, Irene (Joe) Wottreng, Karen Kurple, her brother, William (Sandy) Kurple and sister-in-law Connie Kurple.  Besides her parents and husband Robert she was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Kurple.

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00 PM until her Celebration of Life which will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, November 6, 2021, at the Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St, Middlefield, OH 44062.
