Theodore "Ted" Henry Nelson

Theodore “Ted” Henry Nelson of Chardon passed away Sunday June 11, 2023, at Heather Hill Nursing Home. He was born August 28, 1957, in Cleveland to the late Kenneth Lewis, and Helen Ruth (Henry) Nelson.  He graduated from Chardon High School in 1976.  Ted was a lifelong painter and most recently working  for Distinctive Interiors.  He married Dawn M. DiFrancesco on August 8, 2008. He enjoyed listening to country music, starting and working on many projects around the house.

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Dawn M. Nelson, his son Nick (Amanda) Nelson of Wadsworth, Ohio, grandchildren, Jordyn and Bayley, siblings, Edward (Barb) Nelson of Front Royal, VA, Jeff (Kathy) Nelson of Mentor, Ohio, Kaye Little of Front Royal, VA, Chris (Marcy) Nelson of Hambden, Ohio, many nieces, nephews and two great nephews.  Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Tom Little.  

A Memorial Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Friday June 30, 2023, at  Western Reserve Memorial Garden, 11521 Chillicothe Rd Chesterland, OH 44026
