Terrance “Terry” Phillip Pike, 84, of Middlefield passed away Friday May 9, 2025 at Ohman Family Living at Briar. Terrance was born on February 15, 1941, in Cleveland, Ohio to the late Archibald and Alverta (Wheeler) Pike.
Terrance grew up in South Euclid, Ohio and Fort Lauderdale, Florida. After graduating high school, he would go on to join the United States Airforce where he served as an air policeman. As for work, Terrance was a Jack-of-all-trades installing lawn sprinklers, selling lumber and meat, driving Amish workers, working as a security guard and managing The Honky Tonk Saloon in Grand River. He was also a devout Catholic and a member of St. Helen’s Church in Newbury.
Terrance loved to travel and had “a GPS in his head with maps from everywhere”. He took pride in the fact that he had never used Google a day in his life and considered the pencil behind his ear to be his only computer. Terrance also loved his country; from his service to his life after his release from the Airforce he was a true patriot.
He is survived by longtime companion Betty Manocchio, former wife Cheryl Seagraves, daughters Christine Gray and Robyn (Alan) Briggs,Grandchildren, Bob (Amy) Chapline, Sarah (A.J.) Miree, and Dylan Gray, great grandchildren A.J. and Cory.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, James Pike, Thomas Pike and sister, Patricia Pike.
As per his wishes, cremation has taken place and Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
