Theodore “Ted” Gloden, 83, of Troy Township, passed away suddenly at UH Geauga Hospital. He was born November 11, 1936 in Twinsburg, Ohio to the late Peter and Margaret Goldean, and lived in Troy Township since the 1970’s. He was employed by the Berkshire School System as a bus driver for many years. He loved cattle farming, trap shooting, his beloved cattle dog, Scout, and racehorses. Ted enjoyed refinishing antique furniture, red haired women and good whiskey. (in no particular order).
He is sadly missed by his brother Rich Goldean of Orwell, his sister Anita Slattery of North Carolina, and many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Jeanne, and brothers John Goldean, and Louis Goldean.
Cremation has taken place, and a private burial will take place in Troy cemetery.
