Tammy J. Locher, 63, of Middlefield, formerly of South Carolina, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 2, 2024, at Burton Healthcare. She was born on September 5, 1961, in Warren, Ohio, to Duane and Shelby (Lipscomb) Rector.
Tammy graduated from Chardon High School and dedicated much of her life to working as a housekeeper in local nursing homes. She had a deep love for reading, Bible studies, crafts, and cooking. She is survived by her sister, Karen Rector of Middlefield, her aunts, Billie (Chuck) Taylor of Cortland and Joy Stout of Middlefield; and many friends who cherished her; especially her BFF, Paulette Colwill. Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Duane Rector Jr.; and her uncle, Jimmy Stout.
Tammy's memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. A time of remembrance will be held privately with family and close friends.
