Susan Rzeszotarski Blair of Parkman passed away at Geauga University Hospital on September 26, 2022. Susan was born on August 8, 1949 to the late Bernard and Marianne Rzeszotarski of Troy. She graduated from Burton High School in 1967 and married Frank Blair of Burton in 1969. In 1985, she graduated from Kent State University and began her career as a registered nurse. She worked at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Robinson Memorial Hospital, Geauga Hospital, and Briar Hill Nursing home, where she finished her career as the Director of Nursing.
Susan was a member of the Button Club of Lake County, was an avid gardener, and a wonderful homemaker. She loved flowers, birds, and butterflies, and she had a soft spot for stray pets. She enjoyed knitting, reading, sewing, and spending time with her family.
Susan is survived by her husband Frank Blair, daughters Marianne Page, Lisa (John) Williams, grandchildren Zayne Logsdon, Taylor (Myles) Kamara, Tyler (Nick) Donavan, Trent Page, Zack Logsdon, Travis Page, Zavier Logsdon, and Riley Williams, and great-grandchildren Karter Kamara, Isabela Kamara, and Ezra Donavan, brothers Richard (Joanne) Rzeszotarski, Mark (Jodi) Rzeszotarski, and Paul (Oggie) Rzeszotarski, and her cat, Miss Kitty.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 1 at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Parkman at 11:00, with a calling hour at Rose Hall at 10:00. Immediately after mass will be a graveside service at Overlook Cemetery in Parkman.
