Shirley Ann Pascuzzi, 77, of Olmsted Township, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 1, 2024. Shirley was an only child born to John and Josephine (Dumisinecz) Halavonich on January 14, 1947, in Benwood, West Virginia. Shirley graduated from WVU with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Home Economics. After college, Shirley married Frank Joseph Pascuzzi and they were married for 55 years.
Shirley and Frank spent most of their married life in North Olmsted, where they raised two wonderful daughters, Kristina (Pascuzzi) Frangella and Natalie Pascuzzi. They have one beloved grandson, Camden Frangella. Shirley worked at East Ohio Gas Company early in her career, then enjoyed 15 years at KeyCorp as a bank teller.
Shirley was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her ultimate joy in life was taking care of her family. Shirley was the most selfless and generous person. She had a passion for cooking and entertained effortlessly. She had elegant tastes in style and design. For fun, Shirley and Frank enjoyed going to the casino. But above all, she enjoyed attending her grandson’s school and sporting events.
Shirley’s favorite place to be was Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, FL at the family condo. Shirley and Frank enjoyed being snowbirds in their retirement years.
Shirley will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Per her request, Shirley was cremated and there will be no formal services at this time. A memorial service is being held at Sunset Memorial on January 4, 2025 at 2pm 6245 Columbia Road North Olmsted, OH. 44070.
