Sarah J. Miller

Sarah Miller, 82, of Montville, formerly of Middlefield, passed away on Tuesday October 17, 2023. Sarah was born on December 6, 1940, in Middlefield to the late John S and Ella B. Kauffman. Sarah married Noah Miller Jr. in 1961. She was a homemaker and worked at the Montville Country Store.

She loved to take bus trips, liked to play bingo, board games and cards. Sarah was a gourmet cook, but most of all she loved spending time with her family, friends and especially her grand and great grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by her children, Jeffrey (Doris) Miller, Donna(Tom) Hanck , Gary Miller, and her grandchildren Brad (Anna) McMichael, Shannon ( Tony) Zendejas, Alicia McMichael, Amanda (Mike) Jones, Jeffrey Miller, Kurtis Miller, Jason(Jen) Hanck, Nicholas Hanck and 11 great-grandchildren, siblings Sue(Ray) Burkholder, Andy(Edna) Kauffman, Elizabeth (Sam)Weaver, Chris (Esther)Kauffman, Anna(Bill) Byler, Edna (Chester)Miller, John(Esther) Kauffman, Ella(Chester) Miller, Melvin(Alma) Kauffman, Sylvia (Jake) Mast, Sam (Edna) Kauffman, Barbara (Eli Jr.) Miller and Elma Kauffman.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband Noah Miller Jr., her parents, brother Henry Kauffman and sister Ida Slabaugh.

Calling hours will be on Monday, October 23, 2023, from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 W. High Street. Middlefield, Ohio. The Funeral will be on Tuesday October 24, 2023, at the Funeral Home at 10:00 AM with Pastor Karen Cico from Lighthouse UMC officiating. Burial will take place at Montville Cemetery immediately following the service.
