Salvatore “Sam” Seminatore Jr. 84 of North Bloomfield passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at Ohman Family Living at Briar. He was born July 5, 1936 in Cleveland to the late Salvatore A. and Julia (Zack) Seminatore. Sam served in the US Marine Corp during the Korean War where his was a Tank Commander. Sam married the love of his life, Nancy D. (Illig) Mason. He was a millwright at Alcoa in Cleveland where he retired in 1998. He was an outdoorsman enjoying fishing, hunting, farming, riding four wheelers. He was a jack of all trades
He will be sadly missed by his sons, Richard (Tina) Seminatore of N. Bloomfield, David (Nellie) Seminatore of Cleveland, Anthony Seminatore of Cleveland, a sister, Theresa (Jeff) McDonald of Hinckley, and a brother, Stanley “Peter” Seminatore of Cleveland. He has 9 grandchildren, and his high school sweetheart, Arlene Gawsyszawski. Besides his parents he was preceded death by his first wife, Julie Seminatore, and second wife, Nancy Seminatore.
Calling hours will be held from 5:00–8:00 PM Wednesday October 28, 2020 at the Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield, OH 44062. A Celebration his life will be held 11:00 AM Thursday October 29, 2020 at the Funeral Home with Pastor Jody Baker officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife Nancy in Brownwood Cemetery, North Bloomfield.
