Ryan Matthew Scott

Ryan M. Scott, 44, of Niles, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

Ryan was born in Warren, Ohio, on June 29, 1981, to John and Rosalee (Jones) Scott. He graduated from Champion High School and later attended ETI Technical College in Niles, where he studied HVAC.

Ryan truly enjoyed fishing and was a member of Rust City Church in Howland, Ohio. He will be deeply missed by his loving family: his mother, Rosalee (Terry) Scott; his brother, Rodney (Dani) Scott; his sisters, Tina (Jim) Maloney and Karen (Mark) Bryant; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, J. Edward Scott; his brother, Wayne D. Scott; his nephew, Gage Scott; his maternal grandparents, Gaius and Mary Ellen Jones; his paternal grandparents, John and Alice Scott; and his uncle, James V. Jones.

Memorial Calling Hours will be held on January 23, 2026 from 5:00-6:00 PM with a Time of Sharing at 6:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home. 15670 W. High Street. Middlefield, Ohio.
