Rosemarie Fuller Obituary

Rosemarie Ann (Lengel) Fuller, 72, lifelong resident of Parkman, received her angel wings and was called to heaven on Saturday, June 12, 2021. She was born on October 14, 1948, in Chardon, to Joseph and Marie (Soltis) Lengel. Rosemarie graduated from Cardinal High School in 1966 and married John “Jack” Fuller on June 14, 1969. They were members of St. Edward Catholic Church. She retired from Packard Electric; technically, she did not retire, as she went back to her family roots and love of farming.  She was the hardest working person we know, would out work any man under the table any day of the week. Her strength to over come lung cancer was unmeasurable, but she did. Her determination to prove you wrong, when someone would tell her she couldn’t, is something that is unbelievable.

Rose was stubborn, a fighter, and never gave up, even at the end. She loved having things done her way, busy doing all kinds of projects with Jack and the girls, redoing their home, being outdoors, getting stones from the creek for chimney and fireplace, farming, cooking, making quilts, hosting parties, and bringing up her family. She loved to go to work and keep things in order-her work ethic is something she took pride in, and she did run a tight ship, but she also had a playful side to her too. She loved her geraniums, her animals, Myles, Gracie, Misty, Tabby, and loved traveling with the “Soltis gang.” At home they had a first aid kit on hand with her name on it. She is the only lady that cuts her own casts off with steak knives, not once but twice. Everyone who knew Rose, said she was one “tough lady”, who never had a dull moment in her life, but also had a great heart. And anyone who knew her could share memories about her.

She especially loved her family and friends and will be missed dearly by her loving husband Jack Fuller of 52 years, two daughters, Christina (David) Priem of Parkman and Kimberly (Billy) Domen of Huntsburg, and her three grandchildren, who were the light of her life and brought a smile to her face, Nick Priem, Haley, and Troy Domen. She enjoyed being an aunt to all her nieces and nephews, Len and Pat Hall and their triplets, Donnie and Nikki, and their son Alec, Joe and his children, and Michele and her girls.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother Joseph C Lengel.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Kathy Yutzy, Katie Miller, Amanda Yutzy, Miriam Gingerich, Barb Yutzy and the late Ellen Hershberger for all the care you gave to mom over the last few years. She also had a special place in her heart for Daniel Troyer who would help out on the farm.
