Robert "Bob" Lowell Davis

Robert Lowell Davis 89 of Newbury, passed away at his home on November 4, 2025. He had been ill for some time and was under hospice care. He was born on March 20, 1936, at home in Newbury, to the late Frank and Kathryn E. (Farley) Davis. Bob grew up on the family farm and after service in the Marine Corps, he married Lois Moyse, and they lived and raised two children on part of the farm. Bob was a self-employed excavating contractor and specialized in building ponds and lakes in Geauga and nearby counties.  

Bob is survived by his wife Lois, daughter, Sandra Adams, son John (Terese), grandchildren, John (Emily) Clint (Alexis), Brittany, great grandchildren, Jaxon, Adalade, Lois, Anna, a brother, Dale (Colleen), niece, Stacey, nephews, Jeffrey and Mathew.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Lyman and Gordan. A nephew, Brian, a niece Kathleen, and his son-in-law, H. Michael Adams.

A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
