Robert Jester Obituary
Robert James Jester 85 of Mantua, formerly of Parkman, passed away Wednesday March 25, 2020 at Burton Health Care. He was born March 31, 1934 in Cleveland to the late Harold William and Bertha Loretta (Matthias) Jester. Robert worked as a Semi Truck driver for Heinen’s Grocery. He was a loving father. He let you know how much he loved you with a hug. He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Camping, Gardening and Cooking.
He will be sadly missed by his children, Robert (Holiday) Jester, Denise (Jeff) Sobola, Richard Jester, Dave (Kathy) Mazanec, grandchildren, Brian (Faith) Sobola, Nick (Nikki) Sobola, Joshua Bentley, Taylor (Austin) Berry, Charles Knipf, great grandchildren, William, Kenzi, Olivia, Brandin. His special family he loved to spend time with, nephews, Kim (Ruth) Sperling, Tim (Lori) Sperling, and Rob (Marla) Sperling, and other nieces and nephews, his brothers in law, Frank Stien. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia, and second wife, Peggy, also by special friend, Mary VanSickle, siblings, Harold Jester, and Gloria Stien.
Memorial calling hours will be held Tuesday, March 31, 2020 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Fortuna Funeral Home, 5316 Fleet Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44105.
