Robert John Baltitas 87 of Middlefield passed away at his home Saturday July 27, 2024. He was born July 15, 1937, in Cleveland to the late John and Mary (Potemro) Baltitas. He attended St. Lucy Catholic Church in Middlefield. Robert served in the US Air Force from 1963-1967. He enjoyed watching old movies, pipe organ music, cooking and tending his yard. Robert was a truck driver for Jes Food in Cleveland, worked as a butcher for many stores in the area, and in his younger years he was “Bob Bell” a radio announcer.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Marion (Snapp) Baltitas, daughter, Megan (Brandon) Gonzalez-Rivera of Port Orange, FL., son Peter Baltitas of Middlefield, grandchildren, Joseph Roberts, Willis Edward, and his sister Eileen Jex of TX. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his son Robert Edward Baltitas.
Calling hours will be held Thursday August 15, 2024, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Sly family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield, Ohio 44062. Military Honors will follow at 7:00PM at the Funeral Home.
