Rebecca Thomas Obituary

Rebecca Thomas, Age 94 of Middlefield passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on March 28, 1927, to the late Mr. Charles Ferret and Mrs. Hazel Ferret. She completed her college education and became a Dental Hygienist in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She married the love of her life, Leigh F. Thomas, on July 7, 1957. The two raised their two children on Pinewood Lake in Trumbull, Connecticut. The family enjoyed fishing, swimming, and boating together for many wonderful years. Becky loved the beaches of Connecticut and would walk along them and stop to read. She found comfort serving as a faithful Christian of the Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a strong faithful woman who loved her family very much

Becky was preceded in death by her husband, Leigh in 2008 and 3 siblings Hazel Foster, Mary Gummo and Charles Ferret. Loving mother of Leigh (Jo Anne) Thomas and Carolyn (Tom) Young. Grandmother to Tommy (Sharissa) Young, Jesilyn (Ian) Kellar, Shannon Young, Leigh R. Thomas. Grandmother to Zoey and Abby Young, Wesley Thomas.

A Private Memorial Service was held.
