Ray Walker Obituary

Ray E. Walker 89 of Middlefield passed away Tuesday December 21, 2021, at The Western Reserve Hospice House in Euclid, Ohio. He was born March 18, 1932, in Cleveland, son of the late Stanley and Bernice (Rettig) Walker.

Ray is survived by his beloved wife Carole (Weiss) Walker, his loving children, Mark (Renee), Susan (Kevin) Meere, Paul, Elizabeth (Terje) Gewelt, David (Mona), stepchildren, Jeff (Tina) Carpenter, Dawn (Dennis) Swatowski, grandchildren, great grandchildren, many relatives, and friends. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Marjorie Marek.

Ray graduated from Solon High School and attended Bowling Green State University. He served proudly in the U.S. Army, White Sands, New Mexico during the Korean Conflict. Ray retired from Ohio Bell Telephone Co.

At Ray’s request no calling hours will be observed.
