Paul Gene Kadas 83 of Burton passed away surrounded by his family at the Western Reserve Hospice House on Friday April 5, 2024. He was born March 22, 1941 in South Euclid to the late Paul and Elizabeth (Balogh) Kadas. Paul graduated from Brush High and served in the US Army Reserves. He was member of U.A.W.LOCAL 1005 and worked as a Pipefitter for General Motors for 43 years retiring in 2001. He was also a member of the Willoughby Masonic Lodge, the Willoughby Eagles, Rock Creek Conservation Club, and the Fairport Harbor Rod and Reel Association. Hosting and entertaining family and friends at their home that he had built 39 years ago with horses, dogs and cats was one of his favorite activities. He was an avid outdoorsman who was passionate about hunting, fishing and wildlife. He also was a dedicated Cleveland sports fan and traveler who had visited all 50 states. Lastly, he served his community as a Hunter Safety instructor and Willoughby Youth Football coach.
He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 60 years, Carol M. (Marshall) Kadas, children, Paul A. (Roseanne) Kadas, Diane L. (Keith) Paquin, grandchildren, Alexandra Paquin, Emily Kadas, Sarah Kadas, Margaret Kadas, nephews, Garry (Rosemary) Connors Garrett Connors, cousins Margaret Anderson, Patricia (Edward) Baldzicki and many other family relatives. Besides his parents, a sister, Laura Kadas, brothers, Raymond, and Donald Kadas, proceeded him in death.
A Celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
