Pamela Jo Mann, “Pammie Jo”, 75, of Chardon, Ohio, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.
She was born on July 27, 1950, to Charles and Winifred (Kaiser) Palansky in Chardon, Ohio. Pamela graduated from Burton High School and proudly served in the United States Air Force until she was honorably discharged.
Pamela was a former member of Claridon United Methodist Church. She devoured romantic novels, like listening to all kinds of music, and watching geese outside her window. She was a master cross-stitcher and prolific knitter, gracing family with her warmth and generosity for generations to come. The simplicity of talking with her family for hours was among her greatest joys. She will be remembered for her smile and laughter that could fill the room with sunshine. Her ability to make you feel as though you were the most important person in the world was her greatest gift. It was ours to treasure.
She will be greatly missed by her sons, Philip Mann and Shawn Mann; her sisters, Carol Palansky and Kate (Raymond) Ritchie; her grandchildren, Hannah, Breanna, Chelsey, Caleb, Austin, and Devin; and her great-grandchildren, Jace and Mia, and a 3rd great grandchild Aleena Mae in April.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Charles Palansky.
A Celebration of Life to honor Pamela will be held at Claridon Congregational Church, 13942 Mayfield Road, Huntsburg, Ohio on Friday January 23, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Dinner with family and friends following service.
