Nancy Correne (Angstrom) Rodgers

Nancy Correne (Angstrom) Rodgers, 79, of North Bloomfield, passed away peacefully Saturday morning, January 13, 2024, at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing in Madison. She was born April 19, 1944, in Warren to the late Harold Francis Angstrom Sr. and Mabel Lorinda (Fenselon) Angstrom.  Nancy graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1962. She married her late husband, David L. Rodgers, on June 23, 1962, and enjoyed 54 years together.

She ran a childcare from her home and then worked for Johnson Rubber Co. where she retired.  Nancy was very active in Bloomfield. She was a member of the North Bloomfield United Methodist Church, School PTO, and Memorial Day Association. She was also a member of the Bloomfield Civics Club, Fireman's 300 Club, and Bloomfield Alumni Association.

Nancy will be greatly missed by her daughters, Yvonne (Ralph Jr.) Roth and Lorinda Wilfong (Matthew Rabbitts), as well as her five grandchildren, Ralph “TJ” (Robin) Roth III, Nicholas Roth, Kalina (Matthew) Hennessey, Kodie (Steve Thomas) Wilfong, and Klarissa Wilfong; 3 great grandchildren, Eric and Spencer Hennessey, and Vivian Roth, a brother, Harold (Gloria) Angstrom Jr., sister-in-law, Linda Angstrom, and her loved nieces and nephews. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Rodgers, son Dwayne Rodgers, and a brother, William Angstrom.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, from 2:00 PM until her Funeral Service at 4:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St, Middlefield, OH 44062, with Pastor Vernon Palo officiating.  She will be laid to rest at a later date in Brownwood Cemetery, North Bloomfield, next to her husband and son.
