Nancy “Darlene” Jacques (née Flitcroft), 91, of Middlefield, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Ohman Family Living at Briar.

Darlene worked alongside her husband at Middlefield Auto Wrecking and was later employed by Chardon Rubber, Dillen Greenhouse, Otto Greenhouse, and most recently Cinda’s Restaurant.

Always busy, she also enjoyed painting ceramics, decorating for the holidays, and taking photographs. Darlene was an avid fan of The Ohio State University Buckeyes football team and the Cleveland Browns.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Dick (Linda) Jacques Jr. of North Bloomfield and Cindy (Scott) Lillibridge of Burton; her grandchildren, Nicole (Larry Elwood) Jacques of West Farmington, Heather (Nick) Tromba of Burton, and Shawn (Alicia) Lillibridge of Burton; and her six great-grandchildren, Wyatt Elwood; Evan and Addison Tromba; and Gavin, Brody, and Aubree Lillibridge.
Besides her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Richard “Dick” Jacques, and her sisters, Elizabeth Ellen Day, Gwendolyn D. Shotwell, and Evelyn Whitmore.
