Milton Ellis Morrison

Milton Ellis Morrison, age 85, passed away peacefully at UH Geauga Hospital on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

He was born in Mesopotamia on August 26, 1937, to the late Howard and Jeanne (Ellis) Morrison. A lifelong resident of Mesopotamia, Ohio, Milt was involved in many local organizations. The VFW Auxiliary of West Farmington and Middlefield, the Eagles Club of Chardon, and Ohio Operating Engineers local 18 union for 50+ years. He also worked for A.J. Ronyak for many years. He was a Sprint car racing mechanic, and he also enjoyed flying model airplanes and helicopters, woodworking, building models, and riding his Goldwing motorcycle.

He will be greatly missed by his children, Larry (Pam Suber) Morrison of Newbury, Cindy Morrison of Rocky Mount VA, Michelle (Brett) Dryden of Stow, sisters, Lynne (Joe) Barth of Fall City, WA, Lisa Morrison of Fall City, WA, grandchildren Jeannie Zwolinski, Jordan (Shauna) Carter, Jennifer Alexander, Kassandra (David) Scott, Amanda Morrison, Rebecca (Matt) Haramis, great-grandchildren, Kaycee Alexander, Shayna Alexander, Logan Scott, Ethan Scott, Mackenzie Scott, and great-great grandson Bryson Pfeiffer.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife Mary Morrison.

Calling hours will be Monday, October 10, 2022, at the Fairview Cemetery Chapel 8802 State Route 534

Mesopotamia, OH 44439, from 10:00-11:00 am with a graveside service immediately following at 11:00 AM.
