Michael "Mutt" Frantz Obituary
Michael “Mutt” James Frantz, 61, of Rock Creek, passed away June 10, 2020 at home. He was born November 13, 1958 to the late Hubert and Betty (Edwards) Frantz in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. Mutt worked for Arms Trucking as a truck driver. His Pekinese dog Shasta was like an employee along with him because she would travel with him on his travels in the truck. He loved both riding his Harley Davidson, but also repairing it and any other vehicle that needed mechanical work done. He was an easy going, kind, and generous man who held his family dear to his heart. He was dedicated to every member of his extended family and friends but he held his daughter Trinity as the light of his life.
Mutt will be sadly missed by his wife Doretta (Day) Frantz, his son David (Jamie) Coe, daughters Shawn (John) Trembly, Tina Coe, Aimee Coe, Trinity Marie Shaffer, 2 brothers Bill Frantz, Bob Frantz, sister Candy Savona, mother-in-law Betty Day, brother-in-law Jack E. Day, nephews Gabe, Travis, Nieces Tracy, Shannon. 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, many cousins and friends he considered part of his family.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law Jack A. Day, and a nephew Jackie A. Day II.
There will be no services, but a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
