Michael Paul Regal

Michael Paul Regal, age 33 of Parkman Township, passed away at home on Thursday, April 1, 2021. He was born on September 10, 1987 in Painesville, son of Thomas William and Mardean Lynn (Petersen) Regal. He was a graduate of Cardinal High School in 2005 and attended Hiram College and Lee College in TN. He worked for North American Cast Stone as a mason.

Michael loved the outdoors, enjoyed working out, and played soccer, and other sports. He was a musician, composed music and played in a band.  

Michael was a people person and will be remembered as an amazing friend.

Michael never met a stranger, and he had a way to include everyone around in his experiences. He lived his life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend.

Michael is survived by his father Thomas W. Regal, his brothers and sisters, Timothy (Chelle) Regal of Ringgold, GA, Jeffrey Regal of Marion, Teresa (Floyd) Robinson of Lexington, SC, Daniel Regal of Youngstown, Heather Regal-Sullivan of Southington, Thomas Regal of Chardon, William Regal of Tampa, FL, and Melissa (Chris) Hayes of Menlo, GA, and many relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Mardean Regal, and his sister Amy Cantrell.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 from 5:00-7:00 PM, with the Funeral Service followed at 7:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 West High St., Middlefield, OH. Burial will be at Overlook Cemetery at a later date.
