Michael A Garrett

Michael A. Garrett, 52 of Burton passed away Friday, May 21, 2021. He was born October 11, 1968 in Parma to William Bernard and Diana Jean (Kocka) Garrett.  He graduated in 1987 from St. Peter Chanel High School in Bedford, Ohio. Michael was a Professional Truck Driver for 34 years, worked for Stericycle Inc. in Warren for the past 12 years, also for JZ Paving, and was a member of Teamsters Local 377.  He enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, working on cars with his son, loved his dogs, and his “12oz curls”, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with is family and friends.   

He will be sadly missed by his loving wife who he married September 1, 1990, Kristina (Feldten) Garrett, his mother, Diana Jean Garrett, son, Joshua (Whitney Miller) Garrett, daughter, Taylor (Peter Herbener) Garrett, sisters, Jodi (David) Protsik, Dawn (Thomas) Politzer, Kimberly (Michael) Medina, brother, Brian (Sarah) Garrett, and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father William.   

A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Friday, May 28, 2021 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at the Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield, Ohio 44062
