July 15, 1949 - May 1, 2020 (Age 70)
Mary Jane Mast (age 70) of Garrettsville, OH went to be with Jesus on Friday, May 1, 2020 at 1:30 AM. Mary Jane was born on July 15, 1949 to Joe and Anna Mullet. She married her beloved husband, Ray Mast, on April 13, 1974. Her father, mother, sister Fannie, and sister Martha preceded her in death.
Mary Jane will be deeply missed by her husband Ray and four children: Duane (Kathy), Dalton (Grace), Dianna, Dionne (Gordon) Hershberger and grandchildren Jesse, Toben, Carter, Creed, Chaz, Adelle, and Garrett. Mary Jane will also be missed by siblings Lee (Dorothy), Betty, Joe, Lydia (late Felty Marner), Melvin, Marvin, John, and Bob (Margaret).
Mary Jane was everything a mother could be, loving, caring, kind, and generous. She adored her grandchildren and spoke of them often because children brought her so much joy. We will remember how much she loved to sing and how she enjoyed working with her flowers. Mary Jane is known by all for her delicious cooking and her baking perfection. Most of all, she loved people and touched so many lives around her because of her heart of compassion toward them.
A family burial will be held at Zion Cemetery, Middlefield OH. A Private Family memorial service was held.
In lieu of calling hours to maintain social distancing, people are welcome to drop off a pot of flowers at Zion Christian Fellowship, 15474 Georgia Rd. Middlefield, OH, before noon on Sunday. Papers to write condolences and memories for the family will be provided there. The flowers will line the walkway to the cemetery. If you wish to donate your basket to the family, please mark that clearly on the pot, otherwise pick it back up anytime Monday.
