Mary Anne (Polomsky) Wright, 80 of Huntsburg, passed away at her home after a short illness surrounded by her family Friday, August 13, 2021. She was born February 16, 1941, in Cleveland to the late Charles and Anne (Kupcik) Polomsky. She graduated from Cardinal High School in 1958. Mary Anne married the love of her life, Alfred “Boots” Wright on March 7, 1959. She worked as a Bus Driver for the Cardinal School District for 43 years before retiring in June of 2014. Mary Anne enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling to the beach and working in her flower beds. Her most favorite past time was sitting in the kitchen watching her birds at the many bird feeders that adorned the yard. Mary Anne was a die-hard Indians fan and cheered on the Browns in spite of being surrounded by a family full of Steelers fans.
She will be deeply missed by her daughter, Diane (Scott) Baumgartner, sons, Charlie (Suzette) Wright, Jeffery Wright, Alfred (Trish) Wright Jr, David (Rachel) Wright, grandchildren-Heather, Ryan, Ashleigh, David (Lauren), Dylan, Devon, Lee, Todd (Rebekah) and Kaylee, great grandchildren-Dylan, Hunter, Thea, Noah, and Kinsley.
She is once again reunited with the love of her life, Boots, to whom she was married for 61 years. Mary Anne was also preceded in death by her parents, Charles, and Anne Polomsky.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held from 2:00 -5:00 PM Saturday September 11, 2021, at the Huntsburg Community Center, 12396 Madison Rd, Huntsburg, OH.
