Marjorie Soltis Obituary
Marjorie A. Soltis, 87, of Middlefield, Ohio formerly of Suffield, Ohio passed away on August 25, 2022 at UH Geauga Hospital. She was born December 9, 1934, in Akron, Ohio to the late George and Olga (Primosigh) Rodenbucher.
Marjorie was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church and was a founding member of the St. Edwards rosary group. She loved to help people. She was a room mother at school, was a member of the P.T.A., volunteered at church, and worked at the Geauga board of elections for many years. She liked to garden and travel.
She will be sadly missed by her children Gregg (Jeannine) Soltis, daughters Mary Lynne (Michael) Zeno, Donna (Harry) Beil, Brenda (Frank) Nikic, and Lisa Hamann, and sister-in-law Barb Rodenbucher. 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Steve Soltis, brother George Rodenbucher Jr., 1 granddaughter and 1 grandson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at St. Edward Catholic Church, 16150 Center St., Parkman, OH. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 30, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 West High St. in Middlefield. Burial will be at Overlook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to your local hospice chapter.
