Margaret O. Telling 101 Middlefield passed away Friday, September 15, 2023, at her home. She was born July 16, 1922, in Middlefield Ohio to the late William and Adeline (Davis) Owen. She graduated from ParkmanHigh School in 1940. Margaret worked at the Cardinal school district as a cafeteria worker and then as a waitress/manager for Bells restaurant in Burton where she retired. She was a member of the first United Methodist Church of Middlefield where she taught Sunday school. She enjoyed cooking, working on crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with her family.
She will be sadly missed by her children, John (Esther) Hoxter, Janet (Bill) Poole, her grandchildren Kendra (Ben) Fashing, Keith (Kimberly) Moore, Joshua Hoxter, Adam Hoxter, Amy Hoxter, her great grandchildren, Anna Fashing, Brendan Fashing, Corrine Moore, Ryleigh Hoxter, Parker Hoxter, her sister, Rebecca McNish, and many many extended family. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Ronald Hoxter, Ken Telling, her infant daughter, Judy Hoxter, daughter, Joyce Moore, son-in-law, Larry Moore, her sisters, Glennys March, Elizabeth Urbanski, and Doris Patchin.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Middlefield Cemetery with Pastor Paul Wilson officiating.
