Margaret V. "Marge" (Teichman) Cornish

Margaret “Marge” Cornish 96 of Newbury peacefully passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, she was born September 15, 1928. She graduated from Newbury High School in 1946 and went on to work for the Olver Corp, in Cleveland for 15 years and then worked for and retired from ASM in Newbury after 25 years.   

She was a member of AARP at Bainbridge Senior Center, where she assisted with the bus trips, Burton American Legion Aux, D.T.J “Czech Club” in Bainbridge Czechoslovakian group also in Bainbridge. Marge very much enjoyed her fur babies from her poodles, and cats. 

She will be sadly missed by her nieces and nephews. Besides, her parents, Joseph and Josephine Teichman, she was preceded in death by the love of her life, Duane Paul Ference, her brothers, Joseph and James Teichman; sisters Teresa Merva, Helen Valichnac, Alice Carey-Miller. 

Calling hours will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of her Funeral Service at 1:00 PM Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at the Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 West High St., Middlefield OH 44062. Pastor Moris Easton will be officiating, she will be laid to rest in Newbury Center Cemetery following the service.
