Marcia Ann Plizga

Marcia Ann Plizga, 53, passed away peacefully May 31, 2026, in WA. Born Jan. 26, 1973, in Chardon, she was the daughter of Helen Justavich Plizga Mechling, and late Robert Plizga. Marcia was a talented artist and writer. She worked as a skilled Pipe Fitter with Local #396 and had a passion for nature with a love for the beauty of nature and all creations of God. She loved music, dancing and singing. She recently rescued 2 cats, that she dedicated herself to giving them a healing, safe and loving home.  She is survived by her mother, Helen and stepfather, Chuck Mechling; her siblings; Robert, and Roger Plizga & Michelle Wright along with her beloved nieces and nephews, Spencer, Bobby, Laine, Michael, Macy, Katie, along with aunts, uncles and cousins. She had a large family and even more friends that she considered family.  

A brief Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at 1:00 with Calling Hours immediately following until 3:00 PM at Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 W. High St. Middlefield Oh 44062.

There will be a celebration of Life Ceremony at a later date.
