Louis Martin Greitzer, of Auburn Township, was born on May 11, 1962, to the late Ronald and Roseanne (DiCarro) Greitzer. He passed away on May 17, 2024. Louis was a cherished member of his community.
As the owner and operator of L&L Excavating, Louis was known for his dedication and hard work. His passion for collecting farm tractors and memorabilia was known by many. An avid outdoorsman, Louis enjoyed camping and participating in all manner of outdoor activities, which he often shared with his family.
A skilled mechanic, Louis was renowned for his expertise and ingenuity. His son proudly followed in his footsteps, continuing the family's tradition of mechanical excellence. Louis's greatest pride was his three successful children.
He is survived by his loving girlfriend, Carol Sulik, and his children: AJ (Tammie Evans) Greitzer, Kara (Nate Stutzman), and Leeann Greitzer and granddaughter Jenna. Louis also leaves behind his brother, Ron Greitzer and sister Laura (Dennis)Hebert, who shared many memories and adventures with him.
Louis will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of hard work, love for the outdoors, and dedication to his family will be remembered and cherished.
Memorial calling hours will be held to celebrate Louis's life, bringing together family and friends to honor his memory on Wednesday May 29, 2024, at Sly Family Funeral Home 15670 W. High Street Middlefield from 5:00-7:00 PM with a celebration of Life immediately following at 7:00 PM with friend Michael Cardamon giving his Eulogy.
A private graveside service will be held at Shadyside Cemetery at a later date.
