Loretta M. Rzeszotarski, 94 of Troy Township passed away Thursday December 30, 2021, at UH Geauga Medical Center. She was born September 23, 1927, in Cleveland to the late Stephen and Irene R. (Fedor) Petrik. She was a homemaker and help run the family dairy farm. Loretta was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church, the Troy Ladies Club, Geauga Farm Bureau, served for 18 years on the Ladies Auxiliary of the Great Geauga County Fair Board, volunteered at the American Cancer Society, and was a 4-H advisor for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and fishing.
She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Marcia Gillilan, Linda (Charles) Kennedy, sons, Ronald Rzeszotarski, Raymond (Christine) Rzeszotarski, sister, Kathy Charles, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Chester whom she was married January 8, 1945, 2 infant children, Norma Jean, and Carl, her sister, Marjanne Rzeszotarski, brother, Stephen Petrik and grandson Christopher Kartley.
Calling hours will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, January 6, 2022 with her Mass of Christian Burial following 11:00 AM at St. Edward Catholic Church, 16150 Center St, Parkman, OH 44080. Burial will follow in Mumford Road Cemetery in Troy Township, Ohio. A Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date in the summer at the family farm.
