Lois Clara (Wiltshire) McVeigh

Lois Clara McVeigh 83 of Montville passed away Saturday March 19, 2022, at UH Cleveland. She was born June 11, 1937, in Cleveland to the late Myron and Elizabeth (Kleppel) Wiltshire.  She graduated from Garfield Heights High School in 1955.  Lois married the love of her life, Richard McVeigh April 14, 1956. Lois was a member of the Leroy Community Chapel, Chardon Garden Club, and the Maple Town Square. She sold Avon for many years, was a secretary for Tom Sinks Furnitures in Mayfield Hts., and for IMS in Chagrin Falls until she retired. She enjoyed flower gardening, making fairy gardens, bird watching, her angel collection, and her cats. She also has traveled to 41 states and enjoyed camping with family and friends over the years.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters, Kathy McVeigh of Chardon, Anne McVeigh of Montville, her nieces, Rachelle Wiltshire, and Renee Wolcott. She will also be missed by the Estesen's, the Schanbachers and Scheuerman families. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard, sons Steven “Bonzo” McVeigh, Richard “Rick” McVeigh Jr, sister, Irma Wiltshire, sister-in-law Ruth Wiltshire, and a brother, Roy Wiltshire.  

A  Gathering of family and friends with a Memorial Service on Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.which will be held at Leroy Community Chapel 12920 Painesville-Warren Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077(Route 86), with Pastor Jeff Pierce officiating. After the service there will be light refreshments.
