Linda Marie (Book) Szekely

Linda Marie Szekely 70 of Parkman passed away Friday February 13, 2026. She was born in Warrensville Heights June 30, 1955, to the late Frank and Dolores Book. She graduated in 1973 from Chalker High School in Southington.  Linda was co-owner and primary operator of Chagrin Oil and Gas in Middlefield. She enjoyed gardening, playing games on her tablet, photography, was a workaholic, but enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  

She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Darlene Szekely, son, Joe Szekely, grandson, Vincent Weston, and her gentleman friend, Willie Harshman. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Daniel Szekely who passed away in 2001.  

Calling hours will be held at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield, Ohio 44062 Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Service at 12:00 PM.  Burial will follow the service in Middlefield Cemetery.
