Lila McGlumphy Obituary

Lila Josephine McGlumphy, 95 of Claridon Township, passed away Thursday, January 9, 2020 at home. She was born on November 4, 1924 in Dillonvale, daughter of the late John and Josephine (Zerla) Hardy. Lila was a graduate of Dillonvale High School and was a Postal Clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Dillonvale. She moved to Claridon Township 4 years ago.

She enjoyed reading and playing cards, especially Pinochle.

Lila was the family care giver for years. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her niece Mary Wilson, her great nieces and nephews, James Kirkpatrick, Kim Wilson, Lisa (Rob) Licursi, and Kelly (Dan) Krause, and her great-great nieces and nephews, AJ Kirkpatrick, Noah Gabel, Roland Krause, and Reagan Krause. She is preceded in death by her husband James McGlumphy, her parents, her brother John Hardy Sr., nephew John Hardy Jr., and great nephew Bud Kirkpatrick.

No Funeral Services will be held. Sly Family Funeral Home assisted family with arrangements.
