Leticia Greene Obituary

Leticia Lynn Greene, better known as “Liddy,” of Chardon, Ohio passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 12, 2022, at the age of 61. Liddy had the kindest soul and was always willing to help family, friends and neighbors. She never knew a stranger and enjoyed people from all walks of life. Anyone who knew Liddy quickly learned that nothing made her more proud than her children, Madison and Matthew. Liddy loved spending her time making crafts, gardening, being in the sun, and walking the beach. She always loved listening to music and she certainly wasn’t shy about liking it loud. Family and friends knew, if you followed the music, you would find her singing, dancing and rocking along to the beat.

Liddy is survived by her daughter, Madison Greene; son, Matthew Greene and her loyal dog, Raja; sisters Laura Hurst and Lisa Carlisle; and brothers, Kip Volans, Lewis Hurst, and Lauren Hurst. She was reunited in heaven with her beloved sister, Lucy; parents, Lewis Hurst, Joanne Quiggle (Hurst) and stepfather, Richard Quiggle; and grandparents, Ruth and Tip Volans. She will most certainly continue guiding and watching over her children as they continue to make her proud. Liddy wished to spend her eternity by the ocean. Following her wishes, Liddy’s ashes will be released at Kure beach, where she can eternally rest in the place she loved the most.
