Laura Krejci

Windsor — Laura J. Krejci, 68, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 19, 2025, at the David Simpson Hospice House.

She was born on July 22, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Gus and Ida (Osborne) Orlando. Laura attended Brush High School. She lived in Windsor for over 30 years, previously residing in Montville, Ohio.

Laura was proud to support the family business, Orlando Bakery, where she fulfilled many roles throughout her career. She found joy in crocheting, tending her garden—especially her tomatoes—and boating with her husband while watching sunsets on the lake. Her family will fondly remember her homemade pasta and sauce. Above all, Laura adored her grandchildren and cherished her puppies.

She is survived by her children, Stephanie (Scott) Javins, Joseph (Amanda) Krejci, Michael (Dana) Krejci, and Stacy Herrod; grandchildren, Autumn (Jake) Ferrebee, Bella and Creedence Krejci, Mathew and Riley Javins, Nathan, Jason, and Brayden Herrod; great-grandson, Courtland Birkley; great-granddaughter, Scarlet Javins; and siblings, Robert Orlando, Ronald (Kim) Orlando, and Maria Yaeger.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joseph Krejci; and her brother, Thomas Orlando.
In keeping with her wishes, private family services were observed. She will be inurned alongside her husband at All Souls Cemetery in the spring.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Laura’s name may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve.
