Kristy Lynn (Kuehn) Krupa

Kristy Lynn Krupa, 48, of Thompson Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at UH Main in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on June 25, 1974, in Cleveland to Alan and Jean Kuehn. Kristy graduated from Grand Valley high school and Jefferson Vocational school with a degree in graphic arts. She went on to marry Alan Krupa in 1994. She was a homemaker, worked as a cashier at Giant Eagle and was an assistant manager of Fashion Bug in Chardon, Ohio. She was a member of the Rock Creek Church of Christ. Kristy loved growing cactuses and sunflowers. She also enjoyed bike riding, going on motorcycle rides with Alan, her husband, and spending time with family playing video games with her kids. She really enjoyed Christmas time and decorating the Christmas tree setting it up as early as the end of September. She enjoyed camping, going to Presque Isle, and also binge watching forensic TV shows.
 
Kristy will be greatly missed by her husband Alan, her children Nicholas (Jordan) Krupa, Gabriel (Kaitlyn Burns) Krupa, Lillian (James Dewey) Krupa and Nathan Krupa, a grandson, Roman Krupa, her mother Jean Castle, and siblings Linda Medhurst and Douglas (Beckie)Kuehn.  She was preceded in death by her father Alan Kuehn.
 
Calling hours will be held at Sly Family Funeral Home, located at 15670 W. High Street, Middlefield on Thursday, June 1, 2023, from 2:00 – 4:00 and 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Funeral service will also take place at the funeral home on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 12:00 PM with Pastor Myers officiating. The burial will be at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chesterland, Ohio following the service.
