Karen A. Mracek 75 of Orwell passed away at her home Thursday August 11, 2022. She was born March 20, 1947, in Warren to the late William and Margaret Lenart. Karen graduated from Rockcreek/Jefferson High School in 1965 and worked for Kennametal after graduation. She started her own house cleaning service and retired after working for Orwell Township mowing the town parks. She enjoyed doing housework, baking, cooking, and taking care of her two cats Murphy and Charlie. They would help her do her yardwork and play in the flower beds with her. She was also a 20 plus year member of the Orwell Vol. Fire Dept. Association. Would helped build the kitchen and dinning hall on the back of the fire hall. Working numerus fund raisers of the years. Most of all she looked forward to going to Canada most every summer to visit her aunt and uncle, Norm and Joan, and of course to stop at the lodges to spend her money shopping until her multiple health issues the last seven years from RA ended that. She was a avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, Frank Mracek, whom she married July 16, 1966, her sisters, Cheryl (Don) Childs of Port Orange, FL., Carolyn (Dick) Mullen of Jefferson, OH., her good friend Joan Gaiser, also her nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her furry kids Murphy and Charlie.
As per her wishes there will be no services but if you wish to raise a glass of your favorite beverage at the end of the day to her honor she would probably smile.
A Thank You to the staff a Bella-Care Hospice and a special thank you to her two angels Sara and Tanya whom she thought a lot of.
Memorial donations can be made to any animal charity of your choice or to Bella-Care Hospice, 1933 St.Rt.45, Austinburg, OH. 44010.
