June Dyke Obituary
June T. Dyke, 81 of Newbury, formerly of Middlefield, passed away Friday, October 16, 2020 at David Simpson Hospice House. She was born on June 4, 1939 in England. In 1959 she married David E.L. Dyke, PhD and they moved to America in 1965. June was a legal secretary for several attorneys. June and David moved to Middlefield in 2001.
June enjoyed knitting, gardening, reading, listening to classical music, and traveling. She especially loved being with her family.
She will be missed dearly by her three children, Adrian Dyke of Garrettsville, Helen (Eddy) Conklin of Newbury, and Jennifer Dyke of Mayfield Hts., her beloved grandchildren, David, Charles, Heather, Trevor, Adele, her great grandson Julian Edvon, and her brother John Thompson of Tamworth, England.
She was preceded in death by her husband David on Nov. 3, 2016, her parents John and Mary Thompson, and her brother Roy Collett.
A private Service was held at Sly Family Funeral Home. Her burial was in Middlefield Cemetery, next to her husband.
