Julia L. Cable 99 of Middlefield passed away Saturday April 5, 2025, at Ohman family living at Briar. She was born May 11, 1925, in Oak Creek, Colorado to the late Felix and Katherine (Ziemba) Medynski. She married the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Charles Cable on February 11, 1946.
Julia L. Cable was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She lived a full life of 99 years, raising her family. She volunteered at Geauga Hospital for many years. She was excellent at crafts including cake decorating, sewing and rug braiding. Julia’s legacy of love and devotion to her family will live on in the hearts of her loved ones. Her family extends heartfelt thanks to all who offered their support during her life.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Bruce (Dawn) Cable of Mentor, Karen (Gerald) Heil of Chardon, Her loving grandchildren, Dan (Alice) Cable of Charlestown, NH, Matt (Amber) Cable of Concord MI, Tim (Rachel) Cable of Cleveland Heights, OH, 8 great grandchildren, Ty, Megan, Julia, Gemma, Judah, Jaelah, Gideon and Benno. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, brother, John Medynski, and her sister, Sophia A. Medynski
Julia will have a private graveside service at Western Reserve Memorial Garden in Chesterland, Ohio.
Please note that no public viewing will be held, and the graveside service will be private.
The family would like to thank everyone for their understanding and support during this time of loss.
