Joseph “Joe”, J. Kincaid, 54 of Champion Ohio, formerly of Chardon, passed away at his home in December 1, 2022 surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 31, 1968, in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Mary (Velotta) Kincaid. He graduated from Chardon High School in 1987. Joe continued his education to Lakeland Community College to receive his Associate’s degree in Nursing. Joe married the love of his life, Mary Rebic on December 7, 2013. He was a member of Warren Baptist Temple. He was a Registered Nurse working for Ohman Family Living at Briar and Holly Nursing homes. Joe enjoyed fishing, swimming, bowling, going to concerts, hiking, and camping in West Virginia with his family. He played baseball for the City of South Euclid and was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Mary, father, John (Diane) Kincaid of Copley, children, Justin (Kortney), Kassidie (Dustin), Evan Jr. and grandchildren: Jazlynn, Thea, Theo, Benjamin and siblings, John, Jim (Jennifer), Jeff, Michael (Julie), Kim (Steve) Kahelin, nieces and nephews, Pauly (Vitória), Faith, Amber, Charles, James, Madeline, Addison, Mea, Jack, one great niece, many cousins, and many extended family members. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Kincaid and his grandson, Troy.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St. Middlefield OH 44062. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 9, 2022, at the Funeral Home with Pastor James Dittmar III officiating. Burial will be at Champion Township Cemetery following the service.
