Joseph Rodney Thorpe, age 51 of N. Bloomfield, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at UH Geauga Medical Center. He was born on July 6, 1969 in Warren, Ohio, son of Donald James and Joan Bernice (Boxley) Thorpe. Joseph attended Farmington High School. He was married to Cynthia “Cindy” Reynolds Thorpe until she passed away on Feb. 3, 2019. Joseph was self employed and was a taxi driver for Amish. He enjoyed target shooting and taught his daughter how to shoot a .22 caliber gun. He also enjoyed video games, MOPAR car racing, and doing carpentry work.
Joe will be missed by his daughter Avery (George) Vocke, his brother Ed (Donna) Thorpe, three sisters, Sarah (Gene) Anthensen, Nancy (Ron) Dobay, Susan Thorpe, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
