Joseph William Francey

Joseph W. Francey, age 81 of Chardon, passed away Wednesday December 15, 2021. He was born in Pennsylvania on October 9, 1940 to the late Joseph L. Francey and Sylvia Francey.
 He married the love of his life Doris (Miller) Francey, February 26, 1966. They were married 28 years before her passing on October 6, 1994.
 Joseph enjoyed family picnics anywhere that had a large fishing pond. He was an avid Steelers fan.
 Joseph is survived by his five children; Linette (Steve) Kulka, Joseph Francey, Annie Muheisien, Ellie (Lew) Lemauga and Janet (Tim) Moody. Grandchildren; Doris (Sherry), Benjamin, Joseph, Sasha (LeWill), Patrick, Lew (Ashley), Jessie, David, Alan, Robyne, Logan (Ashley), Tanuutasi (Rachel), Jeanine, Trevor. Great Grandchildren; Terrance, Ava, LeWill Jr, Amaya, Thiago, Harper and coming soon Elliana. Sisters; Nancy (Junior) and AnnaMae. Along with many nieces and nephews.
 He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughter Alma, brothers; Allen and Donald and sister; Sylvia and Delores. 
Calling hours will be held Monday December 20, 2021 at Sly Family Funeral Home, 15670 W. High St. Middlefield, Ohio 44062. from 10:00AM until the time of his Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow in Chardon Chardon Municipal Cemetery.
